Terri has over 10 years of experience in counseling and began her ministry by mentoring young adults. She has an uncanny ability to establish strong relationships with her clients through empathic listening and by supporting their pursuit of wholeness. This enables her to guide clients toward emotional wholeness and maturity, ultimately leading clients to a healthy mental, social, physical, and spiritual life worth living.

Terri firmly believes it is key to bring evidenced based counseling into sessions. She often implements Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, play therapy and art therapy among other sound techniques. Terri implements these techniques while maintaining a foundation in scriptural truth. She works with each client as a unique person with a distinct set of experiences to achieve their goals of well-being.

Terri excels at individual counseling, couples and marriage counseling, children and adolescent counseling and family counseling. She helps those who are dealing with a variety of mental health, relationship, parenting, and personal issues by listening intently and effectively constructing treatment plans uniquely designed for each individual client.

Brenda boasts more than 20 years of counseling experience. Coming from a strong background in education, she coached high school sports for 18 years. Her experience in coaching and counseling gives her a unique set of experiences. She is able to adeptly access insights from her experiences and leverage them when relating to clients while administering compassionate and thoughtful care. She is skilled at counseling those going through all stages of their life and is able to help people from any and all backgrounds.

Brenda has exceptional experience in individual counseling, family counseling, marriage/couples counseling and adolescent counseling. She utilizes tried and true techniques engaging each person where they are while helping them in their unique progression towards wholeness. She provides care for a diverse array of needs including anxiety, depression, grief, and various other mental health concerns.

Brenda believes that scriptural applications can be used practically within the working out of life's difficult situations and circumstances. With this, she brings a carefully knitted skill set to enrich her work with all those seeking mental, social, physical, and spiritual health to achieve well-being and above all, wholeness.

For over 30 years, Sidney has served as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist in both private and state hospitals and outpatient facilities.
Sidney taught psychiatric nursing at Delaware Technical and Community College and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Langston has a background in medical-surgical and ICU nursing and served in a nursing and counseling capacity at JAARS Inc., the technical support arm of Wycliffe Bible Translators.

In addition to overseeing client care at El Rophe, Sidney conducts individual, marital, and family counseling with warmth and empathy. She is skilled at interweaving scriptural principles with therapeutic techniques.

Sidney has written 100+ mental health articles available under our Mental Health Articles tab. She also conducted seminars on psychological and Biblical topics and is one of Sidney's strengths. She also hosted "Journey to Wholeness," El Rophe's daily radio program that will be available to stream from our website soon.
